Yummy Tummy Christmas

Once upon a Saturday night (yes, last night) we made some DeLiCiOuS Symphony Bar Brownies!!! First we bought Toffee and Almond Symphony bars, then made the brownie mix, put the bars in the pan on top of half the batter and the rest of the batter on top of those. After tons of milk and joyfully sick tummies....
This and less than half a gallon of milk (that we bought on Friday, oops.) is all that we have left.
For family night a couple of weeks ago we cut out snowflakes and I made this cute sign for above our sink. :)
These are the snowflakes, all the wonderful awesome one's are Bradley's, he's such an artist!
I know this one is kind of dumb, but when I cut it out they looked like people so they had to be colored in. Brad thinks they all look like chemo. patients, rude. haha
This is our tree (an American Girl tree that I had growing up)The living room, with the few decorations that came with our tree. :)
We are SO Excited for Christmas!!! :) We are leaving this Saturday for the A-T-L and can't wait to see my family, it's been TOOOOOOOOOOOOOO long.

Thanksgiving

Our Thanksgiving was Fantastico! We went to Colorado to be with part of Brad's family, whoever could make it. The whole trip was SO MUCH FUN!!! We got there and stayed with Natalie and Matt for a few days. While with them we:

Played TONS of games, (mostly cards that included Black Jack/21) This glass of water represents what you drank when you lost!! Everyone was SO loaded on water after that game. I think Natalie and Brad had to pee 4 times in the next hour or so after playing?!
Went to the Colorado zoo

It was a really nice zoo, we saw SO many animals, and it was a nice sunny warm day!
Watched the Last Airbender... wow, pretty sure we lost brain cells, so dumb.

Played with the adorable children (Blake, Tyler, and Lacey), Brad and Tyler at the zoo with the African Stocker in the window. (aka- oversized house cat) He was just standing there staring at us for a while, so we had to take the picture! What a nice stocker. :)
Ran a turkey trot (Finishers were 1:Matt! 2: Me! 3: Brad! 4:Noelle! Everyone did fantastic, particularly Matt, he did have home trail advantage though... haha jk!), told lots of stories, and
Drove a green Kia SoulYes, we pimped out in this while we were there.... Don't get one!

Then the rest of the family showed up and we went down to Colorado Springs to be with Brian and Jen, Naomi, and los padres.
While down there we went and saw Tangled! It was so cute! We also played with more adorable children! (Carter, Addilyn, and Preslee), Addilyn was especially cute since she was always looking for me, playing with me, and wanting to be next to me! haha Love her! (It probably won't last forever, sadly) and of course Thanksgiving!! We went to Aunt Margaret's house and had a delicious feast! I got to meet the Wyeth side of the family! :) Brad carved the turkey too! :) Good job babe! The day after we had to leave and head back to Idaho... boo! We are glad we made it safe and with only minor delays, and never got caught in any snow storms. It was a wonderful first thanksgiving together! :) We missed all the family that couldn't have been there! :(

Peek- A- Boo

Halloween weekend was fantastic! Lots of candy and doughnuts, woo! We went to our ward activity dressed up, Brad was a Baller, and I was a football player. We carved a lot of pumpkins! The Bishop of our ward brought a TON of pumpkins and gave them all away for free!! So we took four of them to carve. :) We stayed up super late working on them.
Brad's are the one's on the ends, lots of detail and intricate carving! Mine were simple and cute :) We don't have pumpkin knives so we used our kitchen knives, which were bigger than normal this made it a little difficult.
Maegan and Jeff from our ward came over and we made caramel apples, which were DeLiCiOuS!
We also made ghosts with them.
The weekend was so much fun, we played lots of games and got to hang with friends. I also participated in the primary program on Sunday. The primary in our ward has one kid, so they asked the ward to join in the choir. I love primary songs so I was more than willing to join. I also decided that I would buy decorations after the season was over. So I went out this weekend and got a few cute decorations for halloween all half off! Can't wait for next year! :)

I Wanna Be a Cowboy Baby

One wonderful Sunday we went out to this Shooting range place that is decorated like an old Western Themed town. I'd been there once before, but wanted to see it again, so we went and explored EVERYTHING! Any door unlocked, any box that would open, anything we could touch was explored. One of the buildings had western dresses in it, I wanted to bust open the window and put on a dress and go play in the town with my cowboy on all the different features of the town. This blog will be heavily populated with pictures because I love them and want to share some of the little details.
The Caboose

The horsey that would actually move about a foot. We wanted to break the chain so the horse could roll down the track!

Brad fulfilling his dream of being Jim Craig, Man From Snowy River

Brad is much more creative than I am

Prison cellar

The post office had fake letters too!!

Inside the Mercantile shop

Two of the buildings and what the scenery looked likeIt was really nice visiting and playing cowboy/cowgirl, but we decided we like the city life better.

Cave Falls

Oh, Beautiful Fall!! Full of orange, yellow, and reds! This fall has been SO warm compared to normal Fall's here in Rexburg, I am so grateful!! It seems like October came and went so fast, but at the same time it seems like October was so long. Were glad it's now November, only 3 weeks till Thanksgiving! and Seven weeks till were home for Christmas!! YAY!
One of my favorite fall meals is Creamy Potato soup in Bread bowls. Broulim's had these cute pumpkin bread bowls when I went, I was so excited! :D They were so cute.
Brad and I went out to Cave Falls. We loved the dirt road drive out there in the truck, loved seeing the fall trees and we ran into some cows! Just minding their own business walking in the middle of the road.

We took a lot of goofy pictures with the little waterfall, threw lots of rocks into the river, and balanced on the log. We're Pro's. haha. It was a nice fall day get away! :)

!Apartamento!

We had Nellie and Noelle over for dinner on Thursday so I finally got the apartment cleaned up to tip top shape! :) In Spanish class we just learned how to say the rooms of the house, so I will say them in spanish para practicar.
La Cocina= Kitchen

El Comedor= Dining room, con las flores de Bradley para nuestros siete meses! :D ay yi yi!!
La Sala= Living room
Minor detail you couldn't see, but I LOVE!With some of my sea shells from Florida!

La Alcoba= Bedroom, this is the most plain room, this and 2 plastic dressers on the floor! :) woo!
El Bano= The BathroomMinor detail: I love W's now! So much prettier to sign my name with a "W" than an "I." Try writing an "I" in cursive, it's almost impossible to try and make it look decent.

We are so blessed to have received such wonderful wedding gifts to make such a wonderful apartment! Thank you to all!
