Comida Creations

I made Pina Coladas, with real coconut milk/juice stuff.
The left over coconut stuff worked great for my own homemade recipe of coconut syrup! YUM! With our left over Teriyaki sauce I had to use it to make a Banzai Burger, just like Red Robin!
And we made Sausage McGriddles, just like McDonald's. haha, not the healthiest but they are SO GOOD!! What's better than syrup and sausage?

The Search

After much searching here in Arkansas for a decent Mexican place, where they don't serve chips and salsa when you walk in, we finally found one we can live with!! :) KING BURRITO! This temporarily satisfies Brad's craving for the Backyard in Arizona, and I just love Mexican food. The authentic kind with corn tortillas, and spicy meats. We tried ghetto places:
With these tiny overpriced Tacos.... RIP OFF. But alas, found deliciousness.

Dippin to Tahlequah

In the mail we received a coupon for one of my favorite snacks! Dippin' Dots!!!! :) The only time I could ever get them was when my family would go to a Mariner's game; and that's the only place I've ever seen them sold. But this coupon was for a mall. Bradley had never heard of them so we went and tried them. :)We both got Banana split, my favorite!

This past weekend we went to Tahlequah, Oklahoma for our friend's wedding, Jason and Ashley Baldwin. We got to see Brad's parents, and the Baldwin family; we are so grateful for the time we had with them; even if it was less than 24 hours. The wedding was BEAUTIFUL and a lot of fun! Sadly the only pictures I took were at sunset, of Brad and I. I'm still kickin myself for not taking more pictures, we were just having too much fun! :)The wedding was over looking the lake, and outside, so don't mind the glistening. :)

Clammy

A few weekends ago, Bradley and I made a picnic and went out to Beaver Lake! :)

It was so relaxing to play in the sand, and swim in the warm water, and be with each other. We were trying to find anything cool in the water with our goggles. While swimming along I saw something that looked like a big sea shell. So I got closer and it closed! I called Brad over and we picked it up, and it turned out to be a clam!!! :D I was so excited!!

Brad got a rock and pried it open so we could see what was inside.Just squishy stuff.. So we put it back into the lake. I never would have thought we'd find a clam in a lake. Nor would I ever expect Brad to get a sun burn, I guess I was wrong. :)

Blast to the Past

On our last date night we decided to go back to our past; and do everything we would do when we were little. For Dinner we thought of our favorite meals as a kid. Mine was Macaroni and Cheese with Peas! (still one of my favorites) Bagel Bites! One of Brad's favorites snacks as a kid was Ants on a log; which consists of Celery, peanut butter, and raisins. Still could hardly get him to eat his celery.... haha. Then we built this amazing fort!! :) We moved our coffee table to the end of the bed and set up my lap top for our movie; HERCULES!! :) One of our favorites.

M'm! M'm! Good!

One thing I've loved about being married has surprisingly been cooking! I have always loved to bake, but cooking was always a burden; especially at school. Now I have someone to cook for and try all my experimental recipes on!! :) Most of them have been fantastic, but there have been a few odd dinners. Here's a few good ones:
Me devouring a Homemade Chicken Nugget

Sari, one of the married couples here, came over and helped me make Sweet and Sour Chicken and fortune cookies. WOW!! Brad and I decided there is no need to ever go out for Chinese again! Fortune Cookies- these were really tricky and we couldn't get them to puff up like normal fortune cookies, but they were still delicious.Butterfinger Bars- They don't look as good as they tasted.
Rolls- ya these I need to try again. I played with all the different ways to fold them.
Cinnamon Rolls- Superb!
A few not pictured have been Spaghetti Pie, Chicken Parmigiane, Italian Mac n Cheese, Stir Fry, Scalloped Potatoes and Sausae, and many more; PLUS many to still try! :)
